Corpus Christi School - Over 100 Years of Successful Students!
Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi School is a pre-kindergarten through eighth grade Catholic school located in the Harlem/Morningside Heights area of New York’s Upper West Side.

The school has served the families of its community and beyond for over 100 years. We are proud of our heritage yet conscious of the need to move forward, providing our students with the education they will need in a 21st century world.

Our school celebrates Catholicism, and we try to model our lives on the teachings of Jesus. We try to live out His message with the joy and peace that flows from such fidelity.

CORPUS CHRISTI PHILOSPHY

WE BELIEVE that the distinctive purpose of our school is to create a Catholic Christian educational community enlightened and enlivened by FAITH shared among our staff, our students, and our families.

WE UNDERSTAND that each child created by God is both alike and different from each other, and we accept that each child’s uniqueness influences his or her learning capabilities.

WE STRIVE to meet the academic needs, to satisfy the interests, and to develop the abilities of each child to the fullest extent of his or her being.

WE EXPECT to challenge our students in their academic and social lives, while at the same time, promising to offer the support necessary to help them succeed.
